A man claiming to be the second  coming of Jesus Christ shoots at the White House and in Arizona, James Ray, the man responsible for three deaths in a sweat lodge ceremony is sentenced.  Inside the White House, Immigration law is better defined while across America…growing numbers of citizens are joining the pro marijuana ranks.

In financial legal news, the Bank of America will be paying back Military personal for foreclosure actions and Paul has some help for us on “rights,” Rights in an emergency room as well as for airline passengers.  I will be asking Paul later in the show what he does when a client shows up asking for help … but that help includes switching attorneys in an ongoing Personal Injury Case.

The events at Penn State became one of the nation’s top legal stories this week – we will be looking at the crime and the victims and questioning the priority given to protecting the University’s football staff.  After weeks of covering the Conrad Murray Trial in the death of Michael Jackson, the jury came back with their verdict and Paul will help us sort out the aftermath.  In a very sad story of war, a U.S. Soldier is found guilty of murdering civilians in Afghanistan while a Ft. Hood serviceman faces more serious charges than in his original indictment.

Big business takes a hit as both a pharmaceutical company and several insurance companies are hit in the corporate pocket book … Texas is once again the focus of a capital punishment case and in our visit with Paul at his law offices this week, we take a look at the final stages of a personal injury case. I

The Conrad Murray trial reached day 20 on Friday and the battle of the experts was definitely on … sadly, however, we got a very private look into what was happening in the last few months of Michael Jackson’s life and the significant role played by drugs, their use and their misuse. Moving from West Coast to East, the tranquil setting of a yoga store became a setting for violence and a “I hope this is not a copy cat,” case of a missing baby in Missouri with mom both withholding information and changing her story.

In Virginia, a lawyer in trouble for blog posts while a Florida judge Blocks a law requiring drug tests for welfare recipients.  Obama move to both keep and improve on Student Loan promises made in his state of the union address and in our visit with Paul at his law office today…we talk over the ending stages of your Personal Injury case.

The Inquest in the passing  of singer Amy Whinehouse determines the cause of her death and the Lohan Twins…that would be Lindsay and her Dad … I say twins as they are both knuckleheads and I really hope they get the help they need.  The Casey Anthony Jurors names are released and Bath Salts, of all things, end up on a DEA list of restricted substances due to abuse as a dangerous drug.
